Teacher's Day Celebration
On 28th of June 2013, our institution had held the teacher's day celebration. It was being celebrated among IPBARIAN involving the trainees or the students and the lecturers. This celebration was meant to show our gratitude and appreciation towards the lecturers who had sacrificed a lot in making our lives a successful one. The national teacher's day celebration is on 13th of Mei where all those involving in the education system were celebrated. Our celebration started as early as 8 a.m in the morning. An opening speech was given by our director, YM Hjh. Azizah after the reciting of the prayer by the students. She the officiate the ceremony before proceeded with the marching performance presented by a group of students. Then the lecturers were being entertained by some of those talented singers made up of the students themselves. A few English and Malay songs were being presented. Those special performance was followed by big claps and loud cheers from the audience. Then it came to the peak event where our beloved director was asked to give away sweets to the students. She tossed those sweets to the air before the students rushed to catch them in a crowd. After struggling for the sweets, the lecturers and students were asked to get prepared physically and mentally for the aerobic session. All stood up and did some kind of body movement. Our bodies move along with the music which filled the air. Sometimes, the voices of the instructor broke the noise. Then the lecturers and students were allowed to have some rest after the
tiring workout. We gathered at the canteen while having some meals. The
students managed to exchange some words and jokes with the lecturers.
Then the lecturers were being escorted by the students to the field for
the outdoor activities. We managed to carry out some fun games which
involving both the lecturers and students. The lecturers showed great
interest towards the activities. Late in the evening we dismissed after
cleaning the field compound. This was a great new experience for as it
was sightly different from those celebrations I used to have during my
time in primary and secondary school.
